not a norton city school board member. Walter Crause has no affiliation with norton city schools. They have been trying to shut down appy for years and it happens, no way norton gets shut down like that. I talked to a former school board memeber less than an hour ago. She said all of 9 words to me. "what do you think walmart was built for, hello"
The biggest problem is too many kids in the elementary school. Thats a great problem to have if you ask me.
My thoughts exactly. If we could get the cards on the table , this "schools" thing would go much better.

This is how we get in trouble, someone "see's" a problem and wants to spend lots of money on just one opinion. Should have bought the students that were coming , fleeing the cities, after 9/11/01, Wise County would be 54 million in debt.
I am pretty sure that if Norton were to join WC it would benifit WC much more than it would Norton. That being the case I do not see it happening any time soon. I see that Crouse (sp) also started talking about reagionalizing school systems as well (Which IMHO could be a really good Idea but will never happen)
I don't know who is talking to who about what. But i have it from a good source.
Norton has contacted WC about them taking on the Highschool in the near future.
And especially if they do look into consolidation. So take that for what you want. But there has been talk about it.
I like how it irates some that this is mentioned.
When me and a few others, said something about Appy, it was why not, and justify your answer. Why does no one say that about Burton.
Were all told by some to face reality. Well couldn't this also be reality? Something to think about.
Might want to ask some questions. And a few from Burton may want to go, to a few of their SB meeting. Cause someone isn't telling every thing. Sounds like another WC SB to me.
If Norton wants to join the Co schools it will happen I would just be suprized if that is the case since WCSB = the great Satin in many peoples eyes.
